Watch Dr. Pimple Popper Squeeze Out An Insanely Satisfying 'Ribbon Of Sunshine'

  • Dr. Pimple Popper (a.k.a Sandra Lee, MD) just shared a new video on her Instagram.
  • In the video, Dr. Pimple Popper squeezes out a ribbon of sebum, a yellow-ish oily substance, from a steatocystoma on her patient’s chest.
  • Steatocystomas are benign cysts that usually occur in groups as part of a larger condition called steatocystoma multiplex.

Just yesterday, Dr. Pimple Popper told fans (obviously via a photo of a huge blackhead) that she’s out of town for work. But, don’t worry, the doctor is always in on Instagram.

In her most recent post, dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, delivers the goods—a.k.a. a super satisfying squeeze of something called a “steatocystoma.” Umm, new guy on the block alert!

Unfortunately, Dr. Pimple Popper doesn’t provide many deets, so here’s the deal: Steatocystomas are benign cysts that often develop in “multiples” to form a skin disorder known as “steatocystoma multiplex,” according to the U.S. National Library of Medicine. They’re usually filled with an oily substance known as sebum, which is really the star of this Instagram video.

    Here’s a ribbon of sunshine for your Friday! ☀️❤️💥😎 #steatocystoma #sunshine #drpimplepopper

Dr. Pimple Popper beings by gently opening a fairly small (in comparison to her other whoppers) bump on her patient’s chest. As she finishes up the incision, the doc slightly presses on her patient’s skin and immediately out pops a little bit of pus. But that’s just the beginning.

“Do you want to see it? Have you ever seen any of these squeeze out before?” Dr. Pimple Popper asks her patient, who responds matter-of-factly, “Plenty.”

Oh, okay, I see you girl—and so does Dr. P: “Oh you have? You’ve just done them yourself? Giiiiiirl.” (Clearly, Dr. Pimple Popper doesn’t believe you should be doing this type of thing at home.)

Meanwhile, the derm puts her gloved fingers to work to squeeze the little opening and instantly (!!) the yellow-ish sebum spews.

The oily substance is rushes out of the tiny incision at the speed of light and folding over itself to create a ribbon of sebum. It’s the most beautiful ribbon of yuck you’ve ever seen! So much so, in fact, that Dr. P captions the post, “Here’s a ribbon of sunshine for your Friday! ☀️❤️💥😎”.

After a delightful first performance, the steatocystoma continues to shine during act two when the derm returns for another squeeze. This time, it squirts out in a tube-like formation and shocks the audience (cue: gasps). From here, Dr. Pimple Popper brings out the big-ish guns: tweezers to remove the remaining sack.

“And people think why are your tweezers not [working]? Because it’s slippery man! No tweezer can pull that out well,” the derm jokes as she tries a handful of times to finally extra all of the bad boy.

    Man, that was exhilarating.
